Ganesh spent the next 2 years working as executive chef for West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. A move to Edmonton saw him taking a position as Chef de partie with the Delta Edmonton South in 2003 where he became executive sous-chef and later executive chef with Silver Birch Hotels, where he worked until 2011. Ganesh worked for many international hotel chains and cruise ships over the next few years, including Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Jumeirah International in Dubai and Cunard Cruise Lines. After graduating with honors, he apprenticed with Intercontinental Hotels in 1994. In both 20 the team succeeded in winning a major award from the Canadian Rockies Regional Championship and has earned their way to competing at the world championship of FIRST Robotics in Houston Texas for both years.
